Senior Sales Executive, Norwalk CT
Growing technology company looking for driven Senior Sales Executive. Candidates must be highly motivated and excited about new technologies.
We are one of the fastest growing technology companies in Connecticut, specializing in backup and disaster recovery solutions, and we are the leader in our space.
This is a challenging position where you will gain knowledge of backup technology while applying your sales skills, exercising initiative and follow through, using good judgment, etc. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be selling our spectrum of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Responsibilities include:
• Contact IT service providers interested in reselling our products.
• Maintain partners business and provide sales services including quote and pricing info.
• Company will provide a warm and hot target list, but some cold prospecting is required.
• Utilize the company's CRM software to build and manage your customers
• Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
• Attend webinars and various other trainings to keep up to date with products and programs.
• Call clients and leads to introduce emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
• Successful candidate must have a strong interest in technology, computers and IT products.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from client and potential customers.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Working knowledge in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, Internet, and e-mail.
• 5 - 7 years sales experience required.
