SIRIS appliances also support GPT Partition formats including those using EFI Boot. SIRIS Lite is capable of backing up both physical and virtual systems with virtually any storage configuration. Datto remains committed to supporting future operating systems and storage configurations as they become available, all SIRIS Lite appliances regularly download and install updates in the background ensuring that every device is always running the latest version.
Broad Operating System Support
The SIRIS Lite Supports the widest array of operating systems of any Backup Disaster Recovery Product on the market. With support for Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008 and 7, SIRIS Lite supports almost any windows system still in production today. SIRIS Lite Also has support for backups using Apple TimeMachine and includes Beta support for common Linux installations like RedHat, Cent, Debian and Ubuntu.
