The Power of ZFS

The Datto Z Series is the world's first on and off-site backup solution that uses ZFS. The ZFS filesystem takes automatic snapshots of all data stored on the local Datto device; the daily snapshots are then stored off-site for one year. Snapshots provide access to previous data versions, including any files that may have been deleted or overwritten on the local unit. Storing snapshots off-site provides the added protection of data archiving without taking up disk space or decreasing performance. Additional options allow for on-site snapshot storage as well, offering increased archival options.

The combination of on and off-site data backup with automatic data archiving makes the Z Series the ideal backup solution for the small office environment.
