Under the hood

The Z-Series NAS devices are powered by a powerful 1.5 Ghz Low Voltage VIA C7 processor with 1 GB of RAM. Each device has dual gigabit ethernet ports soldered onto the main board. Z Series devices use SATA II 7200 RPM hard drives for maximum performance. Z-Series devices also have four USB 2.0 ports for future expansion and service access. ZR Models come with two hard drives, (one installed in a removable drive bay) and are configured in a mirroring configuration for maximum performance and redundancy. All Z-Series devices come with free automatic software updates to expand and introduce more features over time.
