A Complete Solution

Each Z series device creates a complete data backup solution. The new models provide a convenient high speed onsite location for computers and servers to backup up to or a place to keep important files and a secure off-site backup of those files in the event of disaster. Z Series devices also offer the ability to have automatic local and remote snapshots of your files. Snapshots keep previous versions of your files so you can recover them in the event of accidental deletion, overwriting, or corruption. Thanks to the powerful ZFS filesystem, snapshots take up little disk space and come at no performance cost.

Easy to setup, Easy to use

Z Series devices don't require any software to be used as a NAS or to use snapshots. Z Series devices give you the freedom to setup automatic backups of computers and servers using virtually any third party backup software program or the included backup software in your OS. Z Series devices have an easy to use AJAX web interface to change settings and are able to join Windows domains as a fully active member.
